Enjoyed this. I am feeling a bit bandwagon-y with women’s football, having really only paid it any attention in the last 18 months or so. But now my 12 year old daughter is playing for a team, we’ve been to half a dozen games in the last year and we too are off to the Finalissima. All good!
I think this is what I've been wrestling with a little bit since the summer. I've been watching the Villa and England, very much more aware in general of where things are at in the WSL, and looking forward to the World Cup. But not really talking about it because of the bandwagon thing, as well as the reasons in the post. Time to put my mouth where my money is!
